For us, this is personal.

Our deeply personal connection to Haiti began in 2010 when we adopted our youngest son, Jeffry, from an orphanage near Port-au-Prince.  After making our first trip to this beautiful island nation during the adoption process, we left a piece of our hearts behind, and we knew that we would be back.

The people of Haiti share a unique and powerful history.  As the first nation to abolish slavery in the Western Hemisphere, and through history’s only successful slave revolt, theirs is a nation rooted in overcoming adversity.  Even so, the challenges facing Haiti are many, and we feel a personal calling to help.  As we’ve traveled back to Haiti, we’ve met some of the most genuinely kind and generous people we’ve ever known, people who love their country and who devote much of their own limited resources to helping in any way they can.  They have become our friends and our family.  Their concerns have become ours, and we know that in some small way, with God’s help, we can make a difference in their lives and futures.

Please take a look at our current and future projects and ask how you can help.  We are so thankful that you’re here.
